Introdução

A Echinacea angustifolia é uma planta que vive por vários anos, originária das pradarias da América do Norte.

Introdução

A Echinacea está entre as plantas mais utilizadas em tratamentos médicos há muitos anos. Ela é aplicada tanto na homeopatia quanto na alopatia, embora existam diversas formas de tratamento. Duas espécies estão listadas na Farmacopeia Europeia: Echinacea angustifolia e Echinacea purpurea. Elas diferem na forma e na composição química.

Introdução

Neste estudo, investigamos a composição e a estrutura de comunidades de bactérias que podem ser cultivadas, isoladas das partes aéreas (caule e folha) e das raízes de duas plantas medicinais, Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench e Echinacea angustifolia (DC.) Hell, cultivadas no mesmo solo, além da comunidade bacteriana presente nos solos ao redor das raízes (solo rizosférico).
