Introdução
O açaí (Euterpe oleracea) é uma palmeira perene tropical que cresce naturalmente nas áreas alagadas da Amazônia, conhecidas como várzeas. É encontrada nos estados brasileiros do Amapá, Pará, Maranhão e Tocantins. Nos últimos anos, a fruta se tornou cada vez mais popular em todo o Brasil, indo além das regiões onde é tradicionalmente produzida, e também registrou um aumento nas exportações, desempenhando um papel fundamental na economia da Amazônia.
Introdução
O estado do Pará, no Norte do Brasil, é fundamental para a história e a economia da Amazônia, mesmo diante de desafios como a desigualdade de recursos e a busca por desenvolvimento sustentável. O cultivo do açaí é um pilar econômico essencial no Pará, impulsionando não só a economia, mas também a cultura e o turismo locais.
Introdução
O açaí (Euterpe oleracea Mart., da família Arecaceae) é uma frutífera nativa da Amazônia, encontrada naturalmente no norte do Brasil, especialmente nos estados do Pará, Amazonas e Amapá. Sua importância econômica vem principalmente da produção comercial de sua polpa e fruto.
