Introdução

Centella asiatica (L.) Urban, conhecida popularmente como Gotu Kola ou Brahmi, é uma planta da família Apiaceae. Ela é tradicionalmente usada em diversos sistemas medicinais, como a Medicina Tradicional Chinesa (MTC), o Ayurveda e práticas herbais africanas. Além de suas aplicações terapêuticas, também é consumida como ingrediente culinário em sucos e saladas.
