Introdução

O bordo-amur é uma excelente árvore de baixo crescimento para pequenos quintais e outros espaços de pequena escala. Pode ser cultivado como um aglomerado de múltiplos troncos ou treinado em uma pequena árvore com um único tronco de até 1,2 a 1,8 metros de altura. Esta cultivar é conhecida por ter frutos vermelhos brilhantes muito vistosos. A árvore cresce cerca de 6 a 9 metros de altura e tem um hábito de crescimento ereto, arredondado, finamente ramificado, que cria sombra densa sob a copa. Devido à excessiva ramificação, alguma poda é necessária no início da vida da árvore para criar ramos principais dominantes. O bordo-amur pode crescer rapidamente quando jovem se receber água e fertilizante, mas é bem adequado para plantio próximo a linhas de energia, pois desacelera e permanece pequeno na maturidade.

A árvore cresce cerca de 6 a 9 metros de altura e tem um hábito de crescimento ereto e arredondado, com ramificação fina que cria sombra densa sob a copa. Devido ao excesso de ramificação, é necessária alguma poda no início da vida da árvore para estabelecer ramos principais dominantes. O Amur maple pode crescer rapidamente quando jovem se receber água e fertilizante, mas é bem adequado para plantio próximo a linhas de energia, pois desacelera e permanece pequeno na maturidade.
